Hi I’m Carlos Ceja.
I’m located in San Jose, CA. I’m here because I want to understand the scrum methodology more in depth. Also having a certification in it wouldn’t hurt. I’m looking to learn the overall scrum process better, I project manage UX design teams and I’m hoping this course will help me run my team in a more agile way, and also ensure we’re working with our PM and Developer partners in an agile way. I found this course through the scrum alliance website. I’m excited to learn!

3. To learn the “right” way to be agile, and beef up my resume.
4. Just knowing how other people do things. The best way to learn, in my experience, is exposing yourself to as much “raw” data as possible, and making decisions based on that.
5. I saw “CSM” as an item on a job application, so I Google’d it and here we are. -

Where are you located? Des Moines, IA
Why are you here?
I have been working in agile/scrum environments for about 3 years, but other than books and informal research, I don’t really have any organized formal training. I am hoping to start to remedy that with this course.
What are you looking to learn?
I want to gain deeper knowledge of the Product Owner role. As a business analyst, I have dealt with product owners, and I have captured their needs, but I want to learn more about understanding them and perhaps serving as a product owner myself.
What are you the most excited about in terms of our growing community?
Agile is the way the world is going in terms of software/systems delivery. I am most excited to be able to compare notes with people and learn how agile roles work with different environments, organizations, and business models.

Why am I here? I have a Product Manager title in my current job, but it’s not a traditional product management role due to the niche industry I work in. I want to learn more about being “real” product owner and expand on my skills.
What am I looking to learn? Learn to be an actual product owner. I want to be able to use my skills in my current role as well as future proofing myself for whatever my next job or role will be. I want to get a deeper knowledge of Agile methodologies in general.
What am I the most excited about in terms of the growing community? I’ve been working in the IT industry in different capacities for the past 20 years so I’ve seen processes and ways of working change. I want to move with the times and be part of the change.
How did I find Agile for All? Google! I knew I wanted to take a product manager or owner class so I Googled it and researched which classes were coming highly recommended and got great reviews and so I landed here 😀
