- Why are you here? What are you looking to learn? I am retiring from the Air Force after 22 years and am looking to broaden my experience. Scrum is something that I am interested in and want to get the CSM certification.
- What are you the most excited about in terms of our growing community? Learning the ins-and-outs of the community and seeing where I might be the most useful.

Why are you here? What are you looking to learn? I was recently laid off, and I’m here to acquire new skills and certifications that will enhance my job prospects.
What are you the most excited about in terms of our growing community? I am most excited about meeting new people and exchanging ideas. In my previous role as a team leader, I discovered the importance of valuing every individual’s perspective.

- I am a Product Owner at my company who has been in the job a little over 2 years now but never received formal Agile or Scrum training. I’m looking to learn some more of the fundamental aspects of this training to make sure I’m covering the basic responsibilities of my role, then start looking for ways to implement and iterate to provide value to the product lines I manage and the development team I work with.
- I’m excited to learn from other members participating in these trainings to get new perspectives and ideas and how to best implement them into practice.

1. My name is Christen Roy

3. I am a pharmacist by education, a pharmacy technician by background and my newest role is a Principal Product Manager at Inovalon, which is a company that builds healthcare software. I am looking to learn about Agile so I may be as strategic and nimble in my approach to my job as my peers.
4. I am most looking forward to expanding on the ideas from the initial training and figuring out how it all works together.
5. I started with Inovalon in Sept and this is a training that is rolling through the organization!

3. I became certified as a Scrum Master in 2017 when Agile was introduced to the payroll software side of our company. At the time, I was over a tax compliance team for our payroll service bureau. I was able to take what I learned and incorporate it into our dept. I have recently transitioned to the software side in a Product Owner role. I’m looking to refresh my understanding of the basic principles and learn more about writing stories. I love what I do and really want to excel and gain the knowledge and experience in this new role.

- And, how did you find us? Scrum Alliance is where we got our Scrum Fundamentals, and I have been a Scrum Master for 3 years in my organization. We are heavily agile, so, I wanted to build on that, maybe look into being an agile coach eventually.
