I am looking forward to exploring how I can become a successful Scrum Master and add to my toolbox of skills and experiences! I am a former enlisted and naval officer, systems analyst and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Today, I am an executive sales and business coach. I show small business owners and entrepreneurs how to leverage the web (and soon AI) to improve sales and profitability. Consultative selling is my superpower, passion and purpose! If you cannot sell, then you do not have a business. And, if you do not run your business profitably then you will not be in business for very long. I love coaching and had my first experience at 14 years old with my younger brother and we won a softball championship together! I am looking forward to leveraging my talent, strengths and experience, guiding productive agile teams and leading companies to create great products and services.
I am excited to join a community of professionals where I can learn, grow and build personal and professional relationships that will last a lifetime!
I joined Mentor Me and am looking forward to embracing the Scrum Master experience!

Who are you?
– I’m Tim Madden, an analytics developer at Bank of Oklahoma.
Where are you located?
– Oklahoma
Why are you here? What are you looking to learn?
– I’m looking for a high-quality, brief book about Agile for beginners. We have a tiny team with soon to be 4 people total. My bosses aren’t on board, so it has to be quick if I can even convince them to read it. For example, I’ve recommended automated testing, and they aren’t interested. It seems like double the work to them!
What are you the most excited about in terms of our growing community?
– I just got here. Initially, I’m just looking for the book recommendation.
And, how did you find us?
– I googled “Agile Forum”
Thanks in advance if anyone has time to respond.
