Who should write user stories and who are they for?
I’m having no end of trouble in my team with story writing, Acceptance criteria ownership, quality and what purpose it is meant to solve.
Interested in peoples thoughts about who they believe should write user stories, what they should contain exactly and who they are for.
I very familiar with story writing templates Given when then and AA IWT STI kind of things, but I’m more interested in focus, purpose and content rather than how to write them.

I’m not big on directly answering questions like this without some context of what has been attempted and what the results were. I like to have people think and try some things that seem reasonable so we can see what happens. If it doesn’t work, then a more knowledgeable person may be able to make suggestions. So…
What have you tried so far and what happened when you did those things? Let’s work through this a bit more.
