About this role:
The Scrum Master is responsible for being a coach and facilitator for their Scrum team(s). They will continually look for ways the team can improve, and will be able to encourage growth through cultivating relationships. The Scrum Master will deliver high value software solutions that contribute to the success of the company’s technology initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint retro, etc.) for your teamsShield the team from interruptions and remove obstacles that may impact deliveryBe a continuous learner and look for opportunities to leverage both new and industry-standard agile methods, tools, and techniquesEnsure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprintHelp teams implement changes effectivelyWork with the team and product owners to adjust and communicate plans when new requests or issues need to be prioritizedWork with release management to track status of larger initiatives across sprints and releasesContribute to continuous improvement across the development teams and proactively drive continuous improvement efforts on your teamsEstablish and maintain appropriate metrics to track team progress and performanceFacilitate internal and external communications and coordinate cross team dependencies to effectively deliver against team and product goalsHelp build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and their goals and enjoy working on itBe a coach and encourager for your teams
What skills and experience we need you to have:
3+ years Prior experience in a Scrum role, as a Scrum master or Scrum leader, including a solid understanding of Scrum techniques (definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)CSM® (Certified ScrumMaster) certifiedKnowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and others from which to draw practices that can be leveraged to help make the team successfulFlexibility – you must quickly pivot from customer need to customer need and adapt rapidly to changing assignments and priorities, communicating changing priorities to the team in a unified and culture-positive wayStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to support more than one scrum team simultaneouslyPrior experience and expertise in SaaS a plusExperience working with multi-location teams a plusFamiliarity with Atlassian suite of products is a plus
