  Agile for big projects

  For big projects we have to agree on the scope and go through scope commit and delivery commit first before we move forward with the development. In case of Agile, how do we agree on the scope first before we move forward with the first backlog grooming? I’ve done agile for smaller projects but for big projects the requirements gathering part is usually waterfall (scope commit, delivery commit, BRD sign off) and the delivery portion becomes agile.
